How to make AI dance videos from a photo
Updated · 2 min read
In short
To make an AI dance video, upload a full-body photo of one person standing with space around them and pick a dance recipe: the model animates the body to a choreography and keeps the face from the photo. Full-body framing, plain clothes and a clean background give the most natural moves; close-ups and cropped legs do not.

The two dance recipes in AgiClips
There are two ways to get a dancing clip, depending on who dances:
- Viral dance: turns a photo of a person into a 10-second dancing clip.
- Dance party: your 3D mascot under disco lights and confetti, with a final pose and a wink (5 seconds).

The photo that dances well
Dancing needs the whole body, so the photo matters even more than in other recipes:
- Full body, from head to feet, standing and facing the camera.
- Space around the person: arms and legs need room to move inside the frame.
- Fitted or simple clothes: very loose clothes and long coats blur the moves.
- A clean background and good light; one person only.
Keep the face stable
Fast moves are where a face tends to drift. A sharp, well-lit face in the photo helps most. If the face changes, try a closer full-body shot before trying another recipe.
Rights and safety
Make people dance only with their permission. Do not use photos of minors or of public figures.

- How long is the dance clip?
- The Viral dance recipe makes 10 seconds; the mascot Dance party makes 5.
- Is there a free AI dance video generator?
- You can try the dance recipes on the free plan; those clips carry a watermark.
